McCall Winter Festival 2010

We made the trip up to McCall this Jan. to see the Winter Festival, we have heard that it is pretty awesome, but I was a "little" pregnant and uncomfortable last year so we skipped it. It was really awesome to see all of the sculptures that people had done, it is amazing to see what they can do with some snow. We also got to see the parade, which was alot of fun, especially for Leah because they were throwing candy and Bead necklaces(it was a Mardi Gras theme parade). Here are some of the ice sculptures that were up there

There were even some of the sculpture that you could climb on and slide down.

Sissy and Mister were getting a little tired towards the end of the day, she fell asleep sitting up, it was funny!
Going, Going.......

Gone!!!!

Trip to the Snow

We decided to drive up to the snow the begining of Jan, we had lots of fun, even Mister went sledding.

I think he enjoys the snow, or at least being outside

Sissy and Bri had lots of fun sledding

As well as jumping in the snow

Sissy loves the snow, she climbed all the way up this hill by herself
And then she had to sled down the hill with Daddy, things didn't go so well at the bottom of the hill. Sissy had to help him up.

She also tried going down the hill with Chris and things went even worse for them, she didn't cry though...she is a tough girl,(sometimes)!

This is Pooh's mini snowman, (notice her bare arms?? She forgot her jacket and her snowpants, so she was a little cold. She still had fun though)

New Years 2010!!

Well, we had a very exciting New Years Eve here....We were invited to a friends house to celebrate and had originally planned on going, but after Steve and i got out of the Movies at about 5pm and it was snowing like crazy and I was not feeling the best, we decided to stay home. The kids were in bed by about 9pm and Steve and I both fell asleep on the couch by about 10:30, guess we are getting old!

I did put Mister in his super cute New Years outfit on New Years Day, though.

Sissy changing her first Diaper

Sissy asked if she could change Mister's diaper, and I figured since he is pretty good and doesn't pee on you anymore that it would be safe.

I am sure Mister is gonna hate these pics when he grows up!

She had to end the diaper change by playing a little and biting his toes.

Santa

So we had a couple of chances this year to see Santa and make sure that he knew what Sissy wanted for Christmas. It was cute, she was always excited when we walked past him at the mall and would wave at him. There was also one time that she didn't want to take her picture with him, she told me she just wanted to give him a hug. She said that she had to be brave and take her picture with Santa so she could show Mister is wans't scary.
Here is the Santa we met at the Movies, i think he was the 3rd one she talked to this year so she was a pro.
Mister with the Santa that visited Sissy's school after her Christmas program
Sissy telling Santa how old she is.

I will have to scan the picture of both of them meeting Santa for the first time, it is super cute.

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and we were so happy to share it with Mema, Poppy, Uncle Sefie, and Dennis who were all up from Cali visiting. On Christmas morning when I got off work we opened gift at our house from Santa, it was lots of fun. Sissy was easily distracted after the first couple of gifts so we have a couple of gifts that she didn't open that we decided to save for her birthday, she will never know.
Here she is with her stocking, you can't see the other side, but it says "Dear Santa, have a heart." I know there was a couple times this year we needed to turn that around
Her she is opening her "Green" PJ's. She told Santa she wanted a green dress for Christmas, what she meant was the dress from the new Princess and the frog movie, which was $90.00, so she settled for a couple pair of PJ's and a shirt and a bag of the "Green" princess.

Here she is "helping" Mister open his stocking. She seemed to like anything he got better than her stuff.
Here is Mister enjoying his Mum-Mums, toy phone, and cars from his stocking. Notice his red cheeks, no he is not trying to have rosie cheeks like Santa, he has a cold....again

We got Sissy and Mister this table and chair set and put it out for them both to open, but Mister just wanted to crawl on top of it and play on the box. I don't know why we buy the kids presents, they would be happy with a box and some paper, we just don't learn :)

After we did our presents, I got to take a nap and then we headed over to Charity's house to open some more gifts and have some yummy dinner with family and friends.

Here are all the kids making graham cracker houses

#4 and #5 are here

I know I am behind on this, but the Mister now had 5 teeth. #4 came in last Monday, 12/7/09, and #5 I noticed was in on sat, 12/12/09 when he had his head back, laughing. We are still doing OK, and he hasn't really bitten me, but he did get Sissy. It was kind of funny, I must say...I kept telling her, he was gonna bite he if she didn't stop putting her fingers in his mouth, and she would say "it doesn't hurt", until 1 day she starts screaming in the car, because he had bitten her. I know I shouldn't laugh, but it was kind of funny :)
